.Astronomy 12: New York 2023

We are thrilled to announce that .Astronomy 12 will take place from Tuesday October 3 to Thursday October 5 at the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) in New York, NY.
There will also be a Day 0 tutorial day on Monday, October 2 and an optional continued hacking day on Friday, October 6. The event will be in person, but we plan to live broadcast and record the plenary talks.

Please use that links below for hotel reservation- if you book directly with the hotel identify yourself as Guest of “Flatiron Institute 2023 Fall Conference”. Please do not use another hotel booking avenue (ie. booking.com, hotels.com, expedia.com, etc.) A limited number of rooms are available within the block booking at our negotiated rate at each of the three different hotels within walking distance from the CCA. All attendees are responsible for making their own room reservations.
Ace Hotel New York: A limited number of rooms are available within the block booking at our negotiated rate of $309+tax/night. These rate are available for the days of October 2-7. The deadline for booking a hotel room is August 21, 2023.
Moxy NYC Chelsea: A limited number of rooms are available within the block booking at our negotiated rate of $419 +tax/night. These rate are available for the days of October 1-6. The deadline for booking a hotel room is September 1, 2023.
Sonder: A limited number of rooms are available within the block booking at our negotiated rate of $319 +tax/night. These rate are available for the days of October 1-6.
